Winter Beast is surely one of the most important horror films ever made!!! Almost every death scene features a different claymated monster killing a different clay person!!!! The stop-motion animation is great!! The dialogue is strange and reminiscent of various weird Canadian movies. Winter Beast is very low budget and the film quality poor but it only helps add to the charm of the amazing creation!!!

I have a new favorite bad movie, and it's called Winterbeast. ...and I'm not ashamed to say I loved every minute of it. The ideal situation for watching this film is in the company of some like-minded lovers of bad cinema and alcohol can only help. I feel this is a beer drinker's kind of movie, but if you're in the mood for something girlie with a paper umbrella, then I say have at it. Just get drinking, pal.

Winterbeast" is a true no-budget classic! Non-existent production values are coupled with powerful hallucinatory imagery, some of which is truly disturbing, to create an absolutely unique viewing experience. One sequence featuring a marvelous actor, Bob Harlow, wearing a clown mask and prancing about a dead body to an ancient recording of a childrens song, is as creepy as anything you'll ever see on film. "Winterbeast' is no-budget filmaking at its finest.

Love it! Love it! Love it!... If you find Winterbeast, watch it. Then, watch it again...The film drips with weirdness- camera angles and frame compositions-the sets. It's all one big pile of greatness...
